While teeth are quite strong, the fact of the matter is that ageing often takes a toll; requiring intervention by a dentist. What are three common scenarios which often lead to tooth loss?

  • Poor oral hygiene can lead to tooth decay and cavities.
  • Gum disease is another predominant factor.
  • Physical trauma (such as an accident or a sports injury) can also cause teeth to be lost.
